Week 3: Money For Good

Previously before researching my post, I didn't know many companies that actually gave back to the community or use their profits as donations. Project 7 sells gum, snacks and clothing. Each product sold the donations are used for meals and providing education. One popular brand known for giving back is TOMS. It is the biggest one for one companies in America. The canvas shoes are design to sell eyeglasses and provide shoes for the need. Not to mention, about a month ago I purchase new pair of glasses from Warby Parker. Considering the fact that I love my frames and that Warby Parker donates a pair of glasses to non profits throughout the world. As well as training is provided to locals to give eye exams. That's amazing and it feels good to be a customer of a one for one company. Another great company, started by a 13-year old from Ohio, sells unique candles with scents like “Fresh Cut Grass” The candles are made inside of an actual soup can after the soup inside is donated to a local soup kitchen. Sound like a great gift idea. You’re giving both a uniquely scented candle and the warm-fuzzy feeling of feeding those who need the help. Something that awesome is that if you’re not so into the ManCan scents, the company also makes SheCans. Now that’s off my chest, I view a successful company always need better environment where people not only grow but work with good efficiency goals to helping others and can achieve organizational & personal goals. It hardly matters about the level of company. Companies that have good role model so that more people will appreciate products. Every company become successful because of it employees and society as society adopt its product, so a company should revert to society also as it is a part of society.
